Frequency Response

The frequency response of the C01 is relatively flat through the mid-range with a noticeable presence peak in the upper frequencies (around 10kHz). This contributes to vocal clarity and adds a sense of "air" to recordings, helping them cut through a mix.

Polar Pattern

The hypercardioid pattern is tighter and more directional than a standard cardioid pattern. As shown in the diagram, it is most sensitive to sound arriving from directly in front of the capsule, with strong rejection from the sides (at 120°) and good rejection from the rear.
